Francisco Juanche Alonzo "Pancho" passed away December 17, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. Francisco was born in Altimirano, Guerrero, Mexico on October 04, 1957 to Filadelfia Lopez Alonzo and Guillermo Alonzo Garcia. He married the love of his life Maria Zuleta in the summer of 1981. Francisco loved to watch and play futbol. He was proud to teach his grandson Jordan the art of the sport. He also loved to play chess, shoot pool and play racquetball with his brothers and friends. He also loved to get together with his family to eat and socialize. Francisco spent 25 years as a faithful member of East Calvary Church where he served as an usher. Francisco was an honest man of God that treated everyone with the respect they deserved. He was a hard worker who took pride in his everyday effort to provide for his family. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife Maria; parents, Guillermo and Filadelfia; brothers, Roberto Alonzo and Juan Alonzo; children, Eduardo Lopez, Robert Alonzo, Miryan Alonzo, Filadelfia Alonzo and Francisco Alonzo Jr.; and his grandchildren, Jalen Matthew Schellenberg, Jordan Andrew Schellenberg, Justin David Schellenberg, Danielle Marie Alonzo, Armando Garcia, Alicia Yanet Garcia, Abel Garcia, Emily Lopez, Angel Alonzo and Francisco Guillermo Alonzo.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 6-9pm at Funeraria Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses 43 S. Stapley Dr. Mesa, AZ 85204. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at East Calvary Christian Church 20 E. Page Gilbert, AZ 85234 with burial following at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206.
